Build a kingdom, hold off the goblins,
then go take the other islands.

You land on an island, build it up, and defend it from goblin raids. Between raids you sail out to other islands, fight monsters, and grab gold and gear. Bring it home to grow your kingdom faster and take over new ground.

Build your kingdom

Twelve buildings, each with a job

Each one has its own HP, cost and job. Workshops speed up your economy. Towers and barracks keep it standing.

Command your people

Your hero and the people who work for you

Break the raids, clear the isles

Seventeen things that want your kingdom gone

A goblin war-band, a set of island beasts, and two bosses. Each has a tier and an HP value. Deeper islands scale them up.

Sail out for more

Five tiers of islands, tougher the deeper you go

Every island has a Threat Level that scales enemy health, damage and loot with it. Clear goblin camps, hunt bosses, and bring the spoils back to your home island to reach the next tier.

Tier 1

Home Meadows

Your kingdom and its first tutorial raids.

Tier 2

Spear goblins, gnolls, the first heavy beasts.

Tier 3

Borderlands

Shamans, cavalry, and the Minotaur.

Tier 4

Frontier Caves

Elite packs and the Troll.

Tier 5

Blighted Roots

The deep end. Mixed elite armies.

How it started

A solo project that got out of hand

I bought the Tiny Swords pack ages ago because I liked the style, then it just sat on my drive. One day I figured I'd try building something with it.

It started as a strategy game, drifted into an RPG, and landed here: an island kingdom you build and defend, plus roguelike runs out to the other islands. Most of the art is Tiny Swords. I made some of the assets and the whole UI myself. I play my own build for fun, which is a good sign.
